August 19, 2011 – Voice of America – New reports show economic growth in the 17 countries that use the euro slowed significantly between April and June.  Economists say Europe’s anemic growth in the second quarter exacerbates the region’s debt problems.  Jeff Sica says the slowdown in Europe could have serious repercussions for the U.S. economy.
